About Award

Every year on the eve of International Day for Women, Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai, an organization working for women empowerment since 2006 felicitates women who have excelled in the field of entrepreneurship or have played a significant role in contribution to the women empowerment movement.

The applicants are usually invited from three categories :
1) From Women Entrepreneurs across Maharashtra
2) From SHGs (Bachat Gats) who have excelled
3) From Women who have contributed to Women Empowerment

Applications are invited in the month of January – February, and a team of Jury processes the applications and recommends the names of women for the Award.

The Award is then given to eligible winners at a public function organized for the purpose.

The Award comprises of :

1. Trophy
2. Certificate with Citation
3. Memento
   

The Application Process:

1. Apply by filing the form link available here The link will be available till 28th Feb.,2025.
2. After the successful filing of the form, you will be provided a link to the payment gateway. Pay the fee of Rs.1,000/-
3. Fully completed application form with fees is scrutinized and sent to a team of Jury for their evaluation and recommendations.
4. Query if any, asked by Swayamsiddha or Jury, is to be answered by the applicant.
5. The Award is recommended by the Jury and declared by Swayamsiddha and presented to the winner in a Public Ceremony.

Why Application Fee is Charged?
To avoid non-serious and frivolous applications and to maintain a level of participation, a nominal fee of Rs.1,000/- is charged while applying for the award.
